Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American performer and actor for over 20 years. She was best known for playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In addition, she played the title role in the movie Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. There is a sibling who is named Ally. Aubrey was a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre during her childhood. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speaker of the class of 2012. Harvard University initially accepted her application but then decided to let her into the university for an additional entry after she was cast as "Nashville". Peeples appeared as a guest star on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Austin & Ally Grey's Anatomy (2005), and played a recurring character in Necessary roughness (1991). Peeples was a TV star on Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 and The Good Mother. The Good Mother was her character. Layla Grant, a major character in The Good Mother, a Nashville second season drama. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview that she provided an interview to NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples among the top actors under the age of twenty in September 2014.
